Don't forget that your Lit Circle Journal is due tomorrow! If it is not turned in, it will be a zero for the quarter!
Remember: your group decided what pages you all were supposed to have read by tomorrow. It was everyone's responsibility to write down the reading assignment in their LCJ so that everyone knew what to read. It was also posted underneath our lunch counts on the lit circle poster by one of your group members.

TOMORROW IS THE END OF 2ND QUARTER!

Tomorrow is the last day of the quarter, which means it is the last day grades will be taken for second quarter. Anything that is due tomorrow that is not turned in will result in a zero!

Biome Diorama DUE DATE!!!

Biome dioramas are due Thursday, December 15! Tomorrow, Dec. 13 will be the last class day that I give them to work on them during class time. Whatever is not finished tomorrow in class must be finished at home & turned in by Thursday. Along with this wonderful project, students must turn in their rubric on Thursday. Students need to make sure that they are using their rubric to guide their project. It has been shown to them how to earn a 40/40 on their rubric for their diorama. Any dioramas turned in on Friday, December 16 will automatically be receiving half credit. Any dioramas turned in after Friday will result in a zero.

Science - biome dioramas

We will begin working on our biome dioramas for science this week. Please send your child in with materials to use in their diorama to help them make it look as realistic as possible. They will receive a rubric on how they will be graded on the first day of the project so they know what I'm looking for. They will need to turn this rubric in with their project as well!

HWPP - What in the world is that???

I've decided to start giving HWPP's in science class! What in the world is that? Well, it stands for Homework Prepared Points & it's really quite simple! If your child has their homework completed & with them in class, they will receive their 1 point for being prepared! If your child does not have their homework completed OR your child does not bring it with them to class, they will receive a zero for NOT being prepared! They can earn 1 point or a zero, it is their choice.
